What People are Saying About Us

Came as a nervous beginner and left standing on green waves. Small groups, clear tips, and super patient coaches. The rooftop sunsets and homemade tagines were the cherry on top.
Emma L,
UK
I was catching waves but lacked consistency. Coaches helped with positioning and reading the sets—night-and-day difference by midweek. Bonus: best mint tea on the rooftop.
Tom K,
Netherlands
Booked Surf & Yoga and loved the balance—morning flow, two surf sessions, stretch at sunset. The team picked the right spots each day and my timing improved so much.
Luis M,
Spain

We Provide Timely & Cost-Effective Surf Holidays
Do I need to know how to surf?
No. Our coaching covers all levels—from first-timers to advanced. We group by ability so you progress safely and confidently.
Do you accept complete beginners?
Absolutely. We start with ocean safety, stance, and pop-up on friendly beach breaks, using the right boards for fast progress.
What do I need to bring?
Swimwear, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, reusable water bottle, and comfy sandals. Wetsuits and boards are provided (bring your own if you prefer).
Do you run lessons every day?
We aim for surf sessions daily, adjusting times to tides and conditions. Typical weeks include 5–6 coached days, with a flexible rest/light-surf day.
Can I travel alone?
Yes—solo travelers are welcome. Our shared spaces and small groups make it easy to meet people. We can arrange airport transfers for a smooth arrival.
What’s the food like?
Fresh and hearty Moroccan-inspired meals (tagines, salads, grilled fish, veggie options). We can cater for vegetarian, vegan, and other dietary needs—just tell us when you book.
Is equipment included?
Yes—soft-tops, funboards, longboards, and performance shapes matched to your level, plus wetsuits and leashes.
Where will we surf?
Around Tamraght/Taghazout Bay—spots like Devil’s Rock, Banana, Panorama, and (when suitable) Anchor Point. We choose each day based on swell, wind, and tide.
When’s the best time to come?
Sept–Apr brings consistent Atlantic swells (great for all levels, especially intermediate+). May–Aug is smaller and sunnier—perfect for beginners.
How do airport transfers work?
We can organize pick-ups/drop-offs from Agadir (AGA) and, on request, Marrakech (RAK). Ask when booking for pricing and timings.
Can you tailor a week to my goals?
Yes—tell us what you want (first pop-ups, turns, confidence in green waves, or just guided surfs) and we’ll adjust coaching and spot choices.
How do I keep costs down?
Choose shared rooms, travel off-peak, and bundle extras (like yoga) in advance. Our packages include gear and spot shuttles to keep things simple and budget-friendly.
Ready to ride?
Secure your spot at Solyra Surf Morocco and we’ll tailor the week to your level. Easy booking, flexible dates, and quick confirmation.
